Available Lengths: 25 ft – 100ft
Sleeved Kevlar® 200 Lb. tensile strength – Kevlar® base with a black polyester braided sleeve.
Although sleeved, this gives several advantages over dyed cord which simply rubs off. The Kevlar is protected from UV, the cord can be taken from the sleeve and the sleeve can be used as additional cordage and the inner yellow Kevlar (which is Kevlar’s natural colour) can be used for all the typical survival purposes. Kevlar is near impossible to dye, and impossible to dye and have the dye stay on. as such this is the only compromise. Yes, several American companies sell it black, believe me it doesn’t stay black.
Current applications include:
- Recreational applications.
- Survival cord
